God's Word is Instruction in Righteousness

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You in the advocating name of Your Son Jesus Christ. You are a righteous judge and a merciful Lord. You are El Shaddai, and there is none other. You are our Righteousness, and You are the One who Sanctifies, it is through who You are and what You do that sustains and prospers us. You are the creator and the giver of all things that are good and perfect. Your splendor knows no measure; You are Holy and praiseworthy. Lord, help us to learn Your ways and the keys to kingdom living. Forgive us our sinful ideas, thoughts, and immoral activities. Thank You for Your Word and instructions in righteousness. You tell us in Your Word that the unjust, wicked, and impure will not inherit Your Kingdom. Telling us not to be deceived by the craftiness of men but to understand that included in these descriptions are the sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, effeminate,  homosexuals, thieves, coveters, drunkards, verbal abusers, and extortioners. Lord, Your Word is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and instruction in righteousness(2nd Tim. 3:16). Help me to see the error in my ways so that I can walk uprightly in front of You. I pray that Your Word penetrates deeply into the hearts and minds of all who encounter it. I pray for the political leaders of this country, and the spiritual leaders, and the educational leaders that they become more acutely aware of Your Word and begin to order their lives and actions according to it. Thank You that You continue to hear my prayers and You are faithful to give me the desires of my heart when they are in line with Your Word; so, sanctify and cleanse those who hear and/or read Your Word. It is in the matchless, marvelous, miracle-working name of Your Son Jesus Christ that I pray,
